From his home in the quaint mountain hamlet of Index Washington, Ben Troy Gilkison annually sallies forth to the open road, finding fresh vision at the heart of his adventure. He is equally at home on rock, snow, and ice. Although the path to photographic progress is mired in complexity, it is his vision to share life as he sees it, simple and beautiful.

Ben trained in 2004 at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography’s Summer Intensive Program. He is always in the act of improvement and refining his craft.
